A House Opened For Prayer (Part 4)

Acts: 12:5. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

Acts: 12:12. When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.

All the world knows that no one is able to deliver Peter from the hand of Herod, yet many believers earnestly praying for Peter - why?

Because they believe in miracle – what we expect from the Lord when we kneel down before God?

Can you see a miracle is on the way as the answer of your prayer or simple fulfilling your religious rituals?

Soldiers knew that without Herod’s permission no one would come inside the prison to save Peter’s life, but someone we have in heaven who do not need Herod’s permission to come inside the prison to save his dear once.

He who promised is faithful!

The second reason why they continue in miracle is that they believe the one who gives promise is faithful to fulfill it in His time

Lord has promised Peter that he will not die in his young age, and till the old age he has to “Feed His sheep

John: 21:18. Jesus said to Peter, “Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”

Peter and his church knows this promise of Jesus to Peter, that’s why they hold on that promise and interceding for their pastor Peter.

1Thl: 5: 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Heb: 10:23. Jesus predicted about his old age Death

Jn: 21: 18. Peter was not sleeping in the prison floor rather he was sleeping on the promise of God.

Sleeping is one of the gifts of God for God’s children Ps: 4:8.

We believe the supernatural intervention of God and His angels.
