Churches are not being closed. Only buildings are being closed. We are the church, we are the temple of the living God. It should be remained open in any situation.
The Church will not close for the Coronavirus, rather the church will come together to close the Coronavirus!!
It reminds us that there were no church buildings for our first century believers and Apostles to gather.
God doesn’t need a building to come and bless His people – Jesus said where two or three gathers anywhere in my name, my presence would be there.
Daniel and his friends lost their Temple of God in Jerusalem, but in a strange situation (in Babylon) their God manifested His power by delivering them from the fiery furnace and from the lion’s den.
Even though they didn’t have a church to gather, they were known as prayer warriors and worship heroes.
Paul couldn’t attend his church many Sundays – but Jesus visited his prison cell.
This morning I have a message regarding COVID-19 for you.
From everything there is a message for God’s children to take seriously
1Cor: 10: 11. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, upon whom the ends of the world are come
These things happening to the whole world today as an example and a warning to us those who live in this last days.
What message or warning does our Lord want us to get from this COVID-19 attack.
Without our Lord’s knowledge and permission, nothing will happen in this world. God has a plan and purpose behind everything. We believe God is in control, even in this chaotic situation and we know that He does everything good for His people.
Coronavirus is like the SIN virus
COVID-19 or Coronavirus is spreading rapidly throughout the world and has already taken 14000 lives within these two months, and death rate is still going up daily – it is really a dangerous threat to mankind.
The Sin virus is a more dangerous virus than the Coronavirus – I will explain!
So far 14000+ people have died because of COVID-19 What is death? Death is separation –
Eph: 2:1. As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins
Rom: 6:23. For the wages of sin is death,
Now we know the wages of COVID 19 is death.
Since, death is separation – death by Coronavirus can only separate their souls and spirit from their body.
Out of these 14,000 deaths we do not know how many were born again and received the forgiveness of their sin from the Lord – and become a child of God.
Let me put one number (it is my guess) 4,000 saved souls (It may be more or less) when Coronavirus separated their souls and spirit from their body, they directly went to heaven and they rejoiced with the Lord and joined into the heavenly choir, they reached a glorious land which they were eagerly waiting for – no more pain, no more sickness there.
Sad to say, the other 10,000 had already died in their sin.
Jn: 8: 21b. Jesus said; you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come. “because they were not ready to repent from their sin’
Sin separated their souls and spirits from their loving eternal Father in heaven and Corona just separated their souls and spirit only from their body and immediately they went to the eternal hell – fire for eternal torment.
You tell me what is the more serious virus COVID-19 or Sin?
It spreads from one person – and now it has become a universal problem – Sin spread from one man called Adam and became a universal problem.
Rom: 5: 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way, death came to all people, because all sinned
Coronavirus spread from one man from Wuhan in China to the whole world and Sin virus spread from one man from Garden of Eden to all
2. No medicine for Coronavirus
It is sad news that so far, the scientist couldn’t find out the medicine (antidot) to save people from this deadly disease. Let us pray that the Lord would help our scientist to invent it very soon and save life
But there is a good new that Dr Jesus Christ invented medicine for sin at the hospital at Calvary.
Those who come to Him with repentance will be saved
3. Wash your hands –
Ps:26: 6. I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, Lord,
Jn: 13:8b. Jesus answered to Peter, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
4. Washing with soap
Ps: 51: 7. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow
5. Use mask – it means to close your mouth.
Ps:141: 3. Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.
Ps:39: 1. I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked
Keep away from the Crowd – means to keep away from the world.
Ish: 52: 11 Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house.
7. No hugs or handshakes – it means, do not compromise with the world
2Cor:6: 14. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
