All Things For Good (Part 2)

Psalm 22:1-2 - "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest."

Psalm 102:1-2 - "Hear my prayer, Lord; let my cry for help come to you.2 Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly."

A question of the righteous:

Psalm 22:1 - "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

What does God say in reply:

Isaiah 49:15-16 - “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me."

A question of the righteous:

Psalms 22:1 - "Why are you so far from saving me?"

What does God say in reply:

Zephaniah 3:17 - "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

A statement of the righteous:

Psalms 22: 2 - "My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer."

What does God say in reply:

Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

A statement of the righteous:

Psalm 102: 2 - "Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress."

What does God say in reply:

Isaiah 30: 20 - "Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them."

Psalm 34:15 - "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;"

God is not a short-term thinker nor a short-term worker;

He is a long-term thinker and long-term worker.

He never wastes either His time nor our time.

God works in mysterious way!
