Rise Up!

Nehemiah 2:18 - "Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So, they strengthened their hands for this good work." The theme of our retreat of this year was “Rise up” Christianity began when our Lord Jesus Christ rose up from the grave to defeat death. The devil will always try to push us down. But we need to rise up everyday in order to not allow the devil to triumph over us. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." We as believers are not in a playground, but we are in a battlefield. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the devil. Ephesians 6:12 - "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against
