Luke 4:16 - “On the Sabbath day he (Jesus) went into the synagogue (Church), as was his custom”. Why should I go to church? 1. Jesus Went To Church My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ set an example before me. He is my hero and the role model for my Christian life. Luke 4:16 - “On the Sabbath day he (Jesus) went into the synagogue (Church), as was his custom”. While Jesus was on this earth, He went to church on a regular base without fail. Nothing hindered Jesus from going to the synagogue - no one could stop him from going to church. Jesus stated that the church was His Father’s house.
